Dragonsblood

This story is one of both persistence and courage, a fable about ecology, and an epic tale that spans continents and countries. It begins with a group of children doing battle with a dragon in medieval Europe and ends with the aftermath of a disasterous oil spill in Alaska. Are these two events, though distant in time and space, connected in some way? Can a dragon be slain, or must he be overcome again and again?
